About me
My name is Andy Martin. I have been taking aircraft photographs for nearly 20 years now. My primary interest has always been propliners, although I am interested in most aircraft, especially commercial aircraft. I also hold a UK private pilot's licence. My local airport is East Midlands Airport in the UK, which is why the site is named as it is.

About this Website
This website is dedicated to aircraft photographs. Over time I shall pick what I believe are the best from my collection of over 40,000 aircraft photographs, and publish them on this website. The site is hosted by Flyer, a truely excellent UK pilot's magazine.

There are also a number of my photographs on www.airliners.net, possibly the world's best online resource for airliner photographs.

About the photographs
The photographs on this site were all taken by me. They were taken and reproduced using the following kit:

Canon EOS-5 or Canon EOS-1000FN 35mm SLRs

Canon 28-105mm or 75-300mm USM lenses

Sigma 400mm F5.6 APO or 70-210 F2.8 APO AF lenses

Kodachrome 64 35mm slide film

Minolta Scan Dual II film scanner

The photographs on this site are all original. A select few have been reproduced in magazines such as Propliner, which I wholeheartedly support as one of the world's premier aviation publications. If you wish to use any photographs on this website, then that is unlikely to be a problem. Please have the courtessy to ask me when you want to use one of my photographs, and credit me with the original, and it is highly likely I will agree to use of my work.
